South Africa being a large country, has been accepted as two autonomous countries affiliated to the KSI World Governing body.

KSI South Africa North comprises of the following South African Provinces:

Gauteng
Northern Gauteng
Southern Gauteng
Eastern Gauteng
Limpopo
North West Province
Mpumalanga
Kwa Zulu Natal

The Chief Instructor for SA North is Shihan Lionel Marinus – 8th Dan who is also one of the four World Chief Instructors.
The SA North is administered by KSI Northern Region executive committee.
